Waiting
"To wait with openness and trust is an enormously radical attitude toward life. It is choosing to hope that something is happening for us that is far beyond our own imaginings. It is giving up control over our future and letting God define our life. It is living with the conviction that God molds us in love, holds us in tenderness and moves us away from the source of our fear."
-Henri Nouwen
A friend recently sent me this quote and I love it. It reminds me that in this seemingly frustrating hurry up and wait period of my life (Where am I going to work? Where I am going to live post July? Does God really want to use the gifts I think I've been given?) that God is at work even still. Trusting is easier said than done but at least for this morning, I want to believe . . .

Waiting has been a foreign concept to my husband. When he sees me waiting for God to open doors, he urges me to do something in the meantime. And I do have goals about gaining further education (I believe in never stop learning). Unfortunately, my waiting is a source of frustration to him.
I hope that God will use you quickly in the area of ministry to which you are called. You have already demonstrated through your blog that you are gifted for ministry.
